My work is a series of mixed media collages in a 16th-century style still life of digital photography and hand-painted abstract backgrounds in a festive gathering setting. Having the objects arranged in a still life format brings an inviting mood to an important event or celebration to the viewer. It symbolizes a place of gathering, socializing, and festivity for–all are welcomed to take a seat at the table.
